Going through a batch of new donations to Holy Trinity’s clothing store are, in front from left, Holy Trinity store volunteer Sharon Barbacki and Jim Norgate of Dreams to Beams. In back are Jeff Aitken of Open Arms Mission and Rev. Terry Holub of Holy Trinity Anglican Church.
In late July of 2016 Dream to Beams conducted it's first clothing drive, donations were gathered from residents throughout the Niagara Region.
The goal of the drive was to provide clothing to grass roots agencies that work with local residents in need on a daily basis.
After all donations were collected Dreams to Beams delivered the clothing to the Affordable Clothing Store at Holy Trinity Church in Chippawa and Redeemed Goods operated by Open Arms Mission in Welland.
Over 1000 lbs of clothing was donated, with sizes ranging from adult to infant clothing as well as shoes, purses and accessories.
Our sincere gratitude goes out the the residents of the Niagara Region and beyond for donating this "giant haul" of merchandise, and helping to make our clothing drive a success.
