Dreams to Beams held a pasta dinner fundraiser to benefit Namibia on October 13th, 2017 to support of Phase Two of our Combating Malnutrition in Namibia Project.
After the great success of Phase One, in Kanono Village, Namibia we are now going to expand the project within the village.
The shade net gardens in Phase One produced a bountiful harvest of vegetables which helped to address and reduce the level of malnutrition in the village.
In addition to this the villagers were able to sell the excess produce to other local communities thereby generating income from the project.
Phase Two will see the creation of a second larger shade net garden which will increase productivity, and further reduce malnutrition and poverty in the area.
Congratulations to our 50/50 draw winner Pete Scott.
